Competition starts on Tuesday 6th October, with 7 weeks of games and then Week 8 Finals, finishing on Tuesday 24th November.

Pine Hills FC (PHFC) is excited to once again be hosting our popular Super Duper 6s tournament.

Super Duper 6s is a fun and social six-a-side tournament for male and female players of all ages, skill levels and experience.

The aim of this tournament is:

1. To provide summer fun for all our football club members, the North Brisbane football community at large and those who may not have played in a football team for some time or not at all. 

2. To aim to have a minimum of 8 teams (if possible) in all age groups/categories, with all teams playing each other once (Please note: this may mean having to decline some teams when the limit of teams has been reached for a certain competition).

3. To have playing groups of a roughly similar standard (Please note - PHFC reserves the right to regrade teams if required).

4. To give the opportunity for non-playing community members to come along and try football in a fun and friendly     
    community environment, with the potential to join our club in the future.

Ten Reasons Why You Should Join Super Duper 6's:

1. We aim to play all games at the same set time, every Tuesday night, over an 8 week period, including the Finals.
   (7 weeks of fixtures plus one week of finals)
2. Every junior player receives a FREE Zooper Dooper ice block after every game.

3. All juniors receive a participation ribbon and medals are presented to all winning and runner-up teams across each age group category.

4. We pump out the latest tunes and classic hits to create a unique and fun atmosphere.

5. You can choose to set-up your own team or we can put you in a team.

6. We provide an all-girls competition. (please see specific information below).

7. Match results and competition leader boards are updated each week following each game.

8. Competition is open to all ages from U5 to over 45s, male and females of all skill and experience levels.

9. We are a family friendly football club that welcomes new players who want to experience the benefits of football.

10. No need to rush home. Delicious food and drink is available from our canteen and bar, following each game.

Cost

Junior Players (up to 18 years of age) = $99* 

Senior Players = $109*

All players without exception must be enrolled in Squadi prior to the first game of the competition.

*Note: Football Queensland have introduced an additional "Play On Football" social fee of $35.00 + processing 

    fee which will apply to all players regardless if you have played in the current Winter Season. 

Play Football Registration

Any player who was not registered for the 2026 FQ Outdoor Winter Season must register in Play Football.

* If you wish to play in both the Mens or Womens competition, as well as the Adult Mixed, then the second competition will cost an additional $50. The total fee will be $159 (plus the Play On Football fee of $35.) If you wish to play in two competitions please email the club at superduper6s@pinehillsfootball.com to arrange payment for the second category.

As numbers are strictly limited, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. We appreciate that it's some time in advance, so we've written our Refund Policy to facilitate early registration - please read Refund Policy here.

Team Size

Squads can have up to 10 players, with a maximum of 6 players on the field at any one time. Both mixed divisions require 2 females on the pitch at all times. 9 players is probably ideal for Super 6's. If you register a team with less than 10 players, the competition organisers reserve the right to add players who register individually or in small groups into teams to ensure that all those who wish to be involved are able to.

Don't Have a Team?

Not a problem. Register as an individual (or small group) and we will assign you to a team that needs additional players. 

Game Length

Games are made up of 2 x 20 minute halves with a 5 minute break.

* Age Groups and game times will be subject to available fields and player/team final numbers. The organisers endeavour to stick to this schedule wherever possible. Any changes will be communicated to impacted groups prior to competition kick-off. To ensure a fair and balanced competition and player numbers, Pine Hills teams may have players reallocated.  ^ If you wish to play both, Men or Womans and Mixed, the second comp will be 50%. For this year’s ‘Girls Only’ competition, we will be using the same team allocation process that was successfully re-introduced in 2025.

Rather than entering pre-organised teams, players will nominate individually, with the option to nominate a couple of friends they would like to play alongside. Our competition organisers will then form the teams within each age group.

This approach is designed to ensure every player has:

• The opportunity to play alongside friends they know
• The chance to meet and connect with new teammates
• A good mix of playing abilities across teams
• The appropriate number of teams in each age group to avoid byes
• An equal number of players in each team, or as close as possible

Why do we use this approach?

We understand that it can feel more natural to want to stay with your usual teammates; however, individual nominations allow us to create a more inclusive, balanced and enjoyable competition for everyone.

The process gives players the opportunity to make new friends, experience playing with different teammates and enjoy a fairer competition. It also helps to ensure that players who have never played before are appropriately allocated to a team.

While we appreciate this may not be everyone’s first preference, we’re confident it is the best approach for our players, the competition and the Club as a whole.

Players from other clubs

Players from outside Pine Hills FC are very welcome to participate in our Girls Only competition.

External players have two options:

• Enter as a team – submit your own team to compete together; or
• Register individually – nominate as an individual and our organisers will place you in an appropriate team.

Once registrations have been completed in both the club system and the Squadi App, players can be placed in a team for Super Duper 6s.

You may also be requested to complete a registration in Football Australia's Play Football system.
