If your team plays the first HOME game of the day on any field, the responsibility of setting up the field of play is the HOME team managers to coordinate.
This can be rostered to parents on the team similar to the washing roster. This will fairly distribute the workload across the team. After speaking to your team parents, you may find that there are a couple of parents who are happy to take on this role whenever you are the first home game of the day.
Goals for your
size field are as follows:
Field 1A and 1B
Miniroo goals are white (U10-13), as they are 5-metres wide, which is the
requirement for these age groups. These goals are usually kept on eastern side
of Field 1 (outside of fence). These goals will not need to be pegged.
Corner Flags - Fields 1A and 1B will require
corner flags that can be found in the Referees room adjacent to Field 1.
Field 4A and 4B Miniroo goals (U8-9) are the white fixed goals (or fold-up goals), which have a 3-metre width. These goals can be found chained/locked to fences on Field 4 or in Large Green Shed at the back of Field 2. If you don’t have a key to unlock the white goals, please ask at the canteen for a key. Please make sure all goals are pegged into the ground with at least 3 pegs.
Or
Field 2A, 2B & 2C Miniroo
goals (U6-7) for your size field are found in the green shed at the back of
field 2. These goals will not need to be pegged.
If your team plays the last HOME game of the day on any field
(for your age group) the responsibility of packing up the field is the team
managers to coordinate.
Field 1: Corner Flags back to referees room and goals moved outside of the fields. Marquees to be put away into second bay of green shed.
Field 2: Pack up the goals and returning goals to the green shed at the back of field 2 is expected.
Field 3: Return goals to concrete pads and corner flags back to the referee room
Field 4: Goals moved back to the fence line and pegs returned to bucket in green shed.
