Emerging Coaches Program @ PHFC

Help Shape the Next Generation of Footballers
Pine Hills FC is excited to launch our Emerging Coaches Program in 2027.
Designed for U16–18 FQ Academy players, U17 FQ Academy girls, U23 players, senior men and women, and other interested club members, this program provides a supported pathway into coaching.
Participants will:
  • Be paired with a junior team as an Assistant Coach for 2027 season.
  • Complete the Football Australia Foundation of Football course.
  • Attend coach development sessions led by our Football Director and Technical Director.
  • Receive mentoring and support throughout their first year of coaching.
  • Be considered for progression to the Football Australia C Diploma.
Whether you're thinking about coaching in the future or simply want to give back to the club, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership, communication and football knowledge while making a positive impact on our younger players.
We're looking for people with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a passion for helping others.
Together, we're building the next generation of Pine Hills coaches.

PHFC Coaching Pathway

We encourage coaches to continue progressing along the Football Australia coaching pathway as they take on greater responsibility within the club.

  • Community coaches are encouraged to begin with the MiniRoos Certificate and Foundation of Football.
  • Coaches within the Development and Academy pathways are encouraged to complete their C Diploma over time.
  • Ongoing support is provided through mentoring, Technical Director observations, coach workshops, individual development plans, and access to example session plans and club resources.

This approach helps ensure all players receive age-appropriate, high-quality coaching aligned with the Pine Hills coaching methodology and player development philosophy.
