2027 FQ Academy and Pre-Academy Team Trials Information and registration

Expressions of Interest are now open for Pine Hills FC’s 2027 FQ Academy and Pre-Academy teams.

2027 will be our second year as an FQ Academy club, providing talented and committed young players with a high-quality development environment and the opportunity to compete in Football Queensland’s advanced junior competitions.

2027 Teams
Our FQ Academy pathway includes:
*Pre-Academy: U9 Boys and U10 Girls
*FQ Academy: U10–U18 Boys and U11–U18 Girls

Our Pre-Academy teams operate in the year immediately prior to players becoming eligible for FQ Academy football, helping prepare players for the next stage of their development.

How will 2027 squads be selected?
We expect our 2027 Academy squads to include a combination of returning FQ Academy players, players progressing from our Development teams, and quality external players looking to join Pine Hills FC.

As many of our teams will retain a significant proportion of their existing squad, the number of available positions will vary considerably between age groups.

Important: Academy Trials are invitation only
To support player welfare and avoid large open trials where many players may be competing for only a small number of available positions, our 2027 FQ Academy and Pre-Academy trials will be invitation only.

Submitting an Expression of Interest does not automatically mean that your child should attend trials.
Once EOIs have been reviewed, Pine Hills FC will contact selected players with an Invitation to Trial, including the relevant dates, times and further information.

Players invited to trial should see this as a genuine opportunity to earn a position within one of our 2027 squads.

All players who are invited to trial who did not participate in the 2026 Football Queensland Winter Competition must also complete an online 'Intent to Trial' form on the Football Queensland website before attending trials with PHFC:
